Della Robia Angel Wreath HANDPAINTED PROTOTYPE

Prototypes from the "70's" ARE VERY RARE, This is the Oldest prototype we have ever seen.

Is is UNDATED unlike the production ornament that has a sculpted 1977 date on the ribbon. Hallmark Artist Donna Lee probably sculpted it in 1975 (the first year Hallmark offered "sculpted" ornaments, or 1976. The colors are much lighter and brighter than the production ornament. A beautiful and rare addition to your Collection. Very possibly one-of-a-kind !
