**1979 Granddaughter *IN NEVER ISSUED Ambassador Box. This Ambassador Box has the ornament name and Ambassador SKU# QX30G . It has prototype Sample markings & stamps on the box lid (see photo).**

This ornament was Purchased from a former Hallmark Employee that worked in the Lawrence,KS Hallmark factory in 1979.

It was never available in a store. In more than 25 years in business, we have never seen or heard of another of this ornament as an Ambassador Ornament...EXTREMELY RARE

Hallmark "considered" offering this ornament in it's New "Ambassador Line, The Holiday House Collection, which debuted in 1979, but this ornament was never released as an Ambassador. It was released in the Hallmark Line in a Hallmark box as SKU# QX2119
