MINT ORNAMENT , NO Box.

In 1992 this Mary Engelbreit Santa Tin design complementing the three 1991 Jolly Wolly tin ornaments was not licensed successfully in time for production.

It is estimated that only 24 of these pre-production ornaments were produced ! Making it one of the lowest production and rarest of all Hallmark ornaments!

Never sold in stores, the few that exist came from former/retired Hallmark employees

On an interesting note, the flat tin sheet metal that had already been printed for manufacturing this ornament was not discarded. It was simply turned over and reprinted with the 1992 Stocked With Joy ornament graphics on the other side. Some collectors have found that if they pry open the 1992 Stocked With Joy they may find the Engelbreit Santa design printed on the inside. (see pictures above)
