Through the years, the Hallmark Gold Crown program has come to represent the benchmark of excellence for those retailers who strive to provide the very best retail stage for the premiere selection of
Hallmark products.
This high achievement award was only given to a FEW Gold Crown store owners or mangers in 1997 .
I can only imagine how hard it was to receive this award!! At one time Hallmark was very strict with Gold Crown Stores.
These Children exchanging valentines and sharing a milkshake at a Soda Fountain look to be from the 1940's time period.
Also in 1940's Hallmark adopted the slogan "When You Care Enough to Send the Very Best".
