QX8304 - Keepsake Ornament
HAND PAINTED PROTOTYPE
This Rare Hand Painted Artist Prototype is from the Personal collection of Retired Hallmark Keepsake Artist LaDene Votruba.
It's a bit hard to tell by the pictures, but when side by side the Prototype has many noticible differences from the regular production ornament, including:
*MUCH heavier, solid material weighing about twice as much as the production ornament.
* Deeper purple paint on the main part of the robe. Also the lighter color purple inside the gown sleeves and along the bottom of the ornament is a lighter purple with a sheen rather than flat finish.
*Lighter flesh tone on the hands and face, the regular production ornament has brighter pink flesh tones.
*Wings on the prototype are a lighter shade of gold and more metalic.
*The green sash that is under the angels neck and extends down both sides has RAISED gold cross detail, on the production version the gold crosses are printed on and not raised.
*No Hallmark Date or Copywright on bottom of the ornament
