This finely detailed sculpture depicts
"Feeling Connected" as a female Hallmark Gold Crown Shopper, leaving the store with her Hallmark Shopping Bag.
The reverse side of the sculpt is engraved: Feeling Connected Phase V Retail Excellence Award. Hallmark Artist Duane Unruh's signature and copyright 2005 Hallmark Cards are engraved on the pewter base.
This very heavy fine pewter figurine/sculpture is mounted on a Wood Base.
In 1986, Hallmark launched the Hallmark Gold Crown store network as we know it today.
Through the years, the Hallmark Gold Crown program has come to represent the benchmark of excellence for those retailers who strive to provide the very best retail stage for the premiere selection of Hallmark products.
This high achievement award was only given to a FEW Gold Crown store owners or managers in 2005. RARELY does one become available for sale, as most award winners treasured and kept this coveted award.
I can only imagine how hard it was to receive this award!! A characteristic of this era was Hallmark's very strict abidance of their standards with these Gold Crown Stores.
