Although not your usual tree decoration, if you have someone who loves planes then they would love this for their tree. It's well made & true to actual.

My husband has always collected this wonderful models. Unfortunately he passed away this past Aug. I decided to continue the tradition of buying the airplane ornaments at Christmas. We have a small Christmas tree that we hang all of the airplane ornaments on.It looks great and our children appreciated the fact that I put up the tree in memory of Dad. My husband was always surprised at the detail on the airplanes and loved collecting them.

Disappointing ornament

Ornament has a glossy silver finish, but nose of plane is poorly painted. Also a scratch/mark on wing. I guess my plane has seen some action in battle while being made in China. The only problem with buying online is that you can't look things over, and Hallmark ornaments can sometimes have issues. If I had paid much over list price I would be exchanging it, but it costs more in time and postage to exchange items like this. I have purchased several ornaments from Hooked On Hallmark over the years, and this is the only bad one. Therefore, I can't really be too hard on the retailer in this case.
