Two unlikely friends
"Inside Out" is my favorite Disney/Pixar film, so I had to have this ornament the day it came out! Sadness is my favorite Pixar character, and I was disappointed that the 2015 ornament just featured Joy. Happily, they chose to put the two together for the series' piece, and it's very appropriate if you've seen the movie. I think the likeness for Joy is much better this year, and Sadness is adorable. Though, I would not have minded Joy pulling Sadness along by her foot since I love that part! "I'm ready." But, this captures the heart of the movie, and it's nice to see that they're returning to this since #3 and #4 didn't seem to hit an emotional moment like the others do (though, in fairness, the series just promises a memorable moment, not a heart-tugging one).
