When he began concepting the Heritage tree topper, Hallmark Artist Matt Johnson discovered a textile in a swatch book from our archives dating back to the early to mid-1800s.
The design revealed a gorgeous night scene with shooting stars projecting a sense of constant motion in all directions. Matt recast the sky in bright red and added shiny, reflective stars and glitter swooshes to create a focal point that captures the joyful energy of the holiday season.
