Barbie, Holiday

In 1993 Hallmark Keepsakes introduced the Holiday Barbie series.
Each year the ornament is based on the design of the Holiday Barbie Doll. (Many collectors collect both the Barbie doll and the ornament to display together.)

From 1993 through 1998 these ornaments were issued under the "Holiday Barbie" series. In 1999 the Millennium Princess Barbie was offered, but was not a "series" ornament.
In 2000, the series was renamed "Celebration Barbie." In 2013 and 2014 Hallmark did not hold the licensing rights to Barbie and the Barbie ornaments were produced by Carlton Heirlooms.
In 2015, Barbie returned to Hallmark and the series again was offered as "Holiday Barbie."
