Hallmark Special Edition Ornament

This repainted version of the 2006 All American Truck 1948 Ford F-1 commemorates Kirlin's 60th Anniversary.
The ornament was issued in VERY limited quantities and was originally only available to Kirlin's Store Managers and Executives.

On March 10, 1948, Dale T Kirlin and his wife Marian opened a small candy store in uptown Quincy, Illinois, called Andes Candies.
Little could they know that this tiny store, located just "39 steps from Maine St.," would be but a first step in what would become a family
business spanning three generations. 60 years later, Kirlin's was the largest chain of independently owned Hallmark stores in the world,
with nearly 100 stores in ten states.

In recognition of this milestone anniversary, and in celebration of the partnership between our companies, Hallmark presented this very limited, repainted version of the 1948 Ford F-1 ornament to Kirlins Store Managers. The ornament was first offered (in a gray paint scheme) in the Keepsake
Ornament line in 2006, this Kirlins truck is the REPAINTED SPECIAL EDITION ...LOW PRODUCTION VERSION. Kirlins Logo on both doors, and special dated licence plates front and rear.
