Description
COMMEMORATING THE FIRST I.D.A./GUARDIAN PHARMACIES
2002 Hallmark CANADIAN LIMITED EDITION - Very Low Production
Hallmark Commemorative Ornament
QEX8301
MINT ORNAMENT, NO BOX
This limited edition ornament was only sold at I.D.A. and Guardian Pharmacies in Canada.
It depicts the one of the first of these pharmacies, and commemorates the 100th Anniversary of this coalition of independent pharmacists/pharmacies across Canada, AND their subsequent and lengthy relationship with Hallmark Cards.
Similar to the 2001 Walgreens Drug Store Commemorative 100th Anniversary ornament,& the Longs Drug Store 100th Anniversary Hallmark Ornaments
but MUCH LOWER PRODUCTION
and very hard to find.
A nice complement to the Nostalgic Houses and Shops Series, with a similar scale. However, the material used is resin, not the artplas material used in the Nostalgic series and the drugstore does not have an "open back" like the series. (see pictures)
Hand painted Resin
Aprox Size: 3"H x 2"W x 1 1/4" D
9-1-22 sold to Tammy 800 - -25% 600
