BLUE SNOWFLAKE SANTA
Hallmark Artist Edythe Kegrize’s Blue Snowflake Santa was inspired by two Hallmark cards she uncovered in the archives. The first was a British greeting from 1951 that featured a picturesque cottage, which Edythe reimagined in cool teal tones. The second was a mid-century design depicting a snowy pattern in deep, dark blues. Santa’s cloak is reminiscent of the sky at midnight, indeed a magical time for Old St. Nick.
