Ambassador is a subsidiary of Hallmark Cards.

This ornament is common in the Hallmark line

BUT truly a RARE FIND IN An AMBASSADOR BOX... AMONG THE RAREST OF ALL. ONLY A FEW KNOWN TO EXIST!

NOTE: The VERY RARE Ambassador TEST ornaments distributed in 1979 were almost exclusively repackage ornaments from Hallmark's regular ornament line. The only way to tell that some of these ornaments are from the Ambassador line is if the ornament is still in the Ambassador box, otherwise they would be considered a no box Hallmark ornament.

We have pictured these 1979 ornaments in their rare Ambassador packaging with greatly increases their value....as this test line was A VERY LOW PRODUCTION.

Aprox 50 different Ambassador ornaments were available in 1979 as a small production Test Market, with full production in 1980, 1981, and 1982.
The ornaments could be found in Woolworth's, Ben Franklin, Card Shops, Supermarkets and Drug Stores.
