2008 Always Remembered

I purchased this ornament in memory of a beloved dog I lost in 2008. It arrived 7 days after I ordered it (standard shipping $3.95; ordered it on December 20th, so a busy time of year; and, I was in no rush to get it) in perfect condition--it was well-protected in a firm crisp box with Styrofoam peanuts; the ornament keepsake box was in perfect condition (for you collectors); and, the ornament was in brand new condition. I can tell this company takes great pride in how they are perceived by their customers and that they are committed to providing top quality service. The ornament is made from Hallmark's quality white porcelain with a white pearl on the clam shell; gold writing "Every life leaves something beautiful behind;" with a white ribbon attached to a gold plate with 2008 inscribed on it. It looks beautiful against the evergreen color of the Christmas tree with the bright lights surrounding it. The picture does not do it justice. If you are looking for something to memorialize someone you love that passed away in 2008, this would be a beautiful item to consider. I will definitely order from this company again. I paid $44.95 + $3.95 (S&H)=$48.90. The box indicates it was $16.50 (USA) when it sold brand new at Hallmark. But, it is a collectible, and it seems a fair price on the secondary market. After all, this has been on my mind since Katie's death, and I have finally been able to find the perfect ornament to honor her.
