After seeing Vinnese artist Andrew Szoeke's work in a New Your City storefront in 1948, Hallmark founder J.C. Hall commissioned him to add his master rouch to cards, gift wrap, and albums. Szoeke's most lasting contribution was creating the now famous "Crown" logl. For over 20 years, Szoeke mentored Hallmark designers in the art of lettering, embossing, and design. His close attention to style and technique inspired the intricate detailing of this hand-blown glass tree which features a rich gold finish and hand-applied beading.
