Cuba Gooding, Jr stars in the upcoming Hallmark Hall of Fame movie Firelight. The new Hallmark Hall of Fame movie premieres April 22 on ABC.

Gooding plays a counselor at a youth correctional facility. The girls come from troubled and often violent backgrounds. The young women join an elite force of volunteers tasked with battling forest fires, building hiking trails in remote areas and assisting during natural disasters.

The volunteers endure rigorous training and learn to work as a team in dangerous and life-threatening conditions. In earning respect and admiration from others the girls learn to respect themselves.
